Today I would like to share with you about the next “hot” item in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog by Stampin’ Up!® that you definitely need, will want! The Stamparatus! Ta-da!
Okay you may be thinking… “What is this item and why in world would I “need” one?”. Below is a video produced by Stampin’ Up! that explains in three minutes “what this tool is” and “why you need one”.
(I could have created my own video, but they have done such a wonderful job, and their video looks way better than any video I could ever create)
*applause*
If you want to hear my personal notes please keep reading! I will touch on three key points to help you decide that you will buy one if you think this will improve your stamping experience.
- What is a Stamparatus?
Simply put, the Stamparatus is a stamp positioning tool that helps you stamp precisely and allows you to stamp multiples of the same image quickly. This tool allows you to place your stamp exactly where you want on your project, close the hinged plate, pick up the stamp, ink the stamp, and stamp in the same spot.
- How much does this item cost?
The Stamparatus costs $49 USD plus tax and shipping. The total cost will vary depending on where you live, how much you are ordering, if you are ordering within a workshop order, or if you have a friend who will buy one for you…. anyone? I personally think that this tool pays for itself right away once you have the item in your hands and you realize the potential of this item.
- Why do I need this AMAZING tool?
I am not going to try to sell this item to you. I just want to share all the things I have done, and plan to do with my Stamparatus.
1. I plan to take my Stamparatus to all classes and clubs I attend since it is so portable and takes up very little space in my craft bag.
2. Allows for perfect alignment of my stamps when creating cards and other paper crafts. (great for when I do not get a clear image, I can re-ink and re-stamp in the EXACT same location)
3. Will allow me to stamp multiples of the same image in a consistent location (like when I go to card class and we make multiples of the same card, or when I create my Christmas cards and I am stamping the same image over and over).
4. There are so many different techniques that are now possible with this new tool, i.e. hinge stamping, any-color-embossing, mirror stamping, round-and-round stamping, and many more.
To summarize I think this tool is a must for all stampers! It has so much potential to “up” your stamping game. To me this is like a bone folder, it adds a step of professionalism to your end project by being able to perfectly align your stamped image. This will make all your card recipients “ooh and aah”!
